On 28 July 2026, the IEM will host another initiative dedicated to its doctoral researchers, providing a space for meeting and peer-to-peer dialogue. This event aims to strengthen the connection between researchers in training and the wider scientific community of the Institute, through moments of exchange, reflection, and academic networking.

The 2026 IEM Doctoral Day will take place in a hybrid format (in-person and online) and will be structured around two main sessions. In the morning, we will hold the traditional presentation of research projects by doctoral candidates at an advanced stage, followed by a roundtable discussion on the needs and aspirations of our PhD researchers. In the afternoon, we will host the presentations and discussions of the projects of the 2025/2026 cohort of the PhD in Medieval Studies.

The online access link will be shared only with IEM doctoral researchers and faculty members involved in the project presentations and discussions, via email.
