The Institute of Medieval Studies of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of the NOVA University of Lisbon (IEM/NOVA-FCSH) is opening a grant for the award of 1 (one) Research Scholarship for a PhD in the areas of Medieval History and Archeology and Medieval Historical Archival Science, under the FCT Research Grant Regulation (RBI) and the Research Fellowship Statute (EBI). The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) will finance the scholarship under the Collaboration Protocol for the Financing of the Multiannual Plan of Research Scholarships for Doctoral Students, signed between the FCT and the R&I Unit, Insitute of Medieval Studies, nº 0749.
The research activities leading to the obtaining of the academic degree of the selected scholarship holders will be framed in the activity plan and strategy of the Institute of Medieval Studies, and must be developed within the scope of the following Doctoral Program:
– Doctoral Program in History at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences at Universidade NOVA de Lisboa.
The grant is open between the 10th of May and the 12th of June 2023 (5 p.m., Lisbon time).
