The Institute for Medieval Studies (IEM – NOVA FCSH) promotes, with the Municipality of Castelo de Vide an Autumn School for Master’s and Ph.D. students in medieval studies, that will take place during the 2nd and the 3rd of October 2017 in Castelo de Vide.

It is intended that students can enhance their knowledge and skills in an environment of debate and exchange experiences with renowned experts from prestigious universities, in an environment that aims to stimulate an interdisciplinary look at the chosen theme.

The model for the Fall School is structured around theoretical sessions followed by debate and research ateliers, with an eminently practical character. There will also be a poster presentation and discussion session on the research themes of the participants and study visits.

The school’s official languages are Portuguese and Spanish.
