The Entail of the month of August approaches the Caniço estate, established by Álvaro de Ornelas and Constança de Mendonça in the late 15th century
The Caniço Estate, located in Madeira, was established on August 31st 1499 and remained in their descendants through to the twentieth century, throughout 14 uninterrupted generations.

The Entail of the month of July studies the Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Piedade, founded by Dionísio de Figueiredo in 1594
The Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Piedade, located in Canas de Senhorim, was established in 1594. In 2019, as part of the European Heritage Days, the Nelas municipality proceeded with restoration of the building, converting it to become one of the stages for this initiative.
