On January 15th, IEM received a visit from a panel of international evaluators as part of the evaluation of FCT’s R&D Units.

It was an opportunity to bring together the IEM team’s efforts around another essential milestone in this evaluation process.

We have prepared an exhibition of our projects and events and a presentation of our most innovative websites and digital platforms. The images of this preparation highlight the dynamism and dedication of the team, captivating not only the panel members but also countless colleagues and students who walked through the lobby of the Vitorino Magalhães Godinho Library throughout the day.

To mark the occasion, IEM published the 2018-2023 Activity Report, highlighting the many projects, activities, events, researchers, students, partnerships and collaborations that marked this period. This document reflects our commitment to scientific excellence, innovation and the social impact of our knowledge.

Being proud of our achievements, we look to the future, hoping to do better and continue to develop research, share knowledge, and support researchers.

We continue confidently to consolidate our role in building the future of Medieval Studies!
