Secondary school students take part in the “Cria Vínculos com a História” (“Create Entails with History”) school competition

As part of the school competition “Cria Vínculos com a História” (“Create Entails with History”), promoted by the VINCULUM project and in partnership with the Lisbon Academy of Sciences and the Association of History Teachers, 11th year students from the Legal Advice and Documentation Course classes, and the Heritage and Tourism Course, at Colégio Internato dos Carvalhos, accepted the challenge of exploring the history of their municipality entail, Vila Nova de Gaia.

With the support of History A teachers, Dr. Anabela Vaz Pinto and Dr. Paula Oliveira, clarification sessions were held with the responsible monitors, Doctor Miguel Aguiar and Professor Doctor Maria de Lurdes Rosa (both IEM researchers ), who shared with students and teachers several documents relating to the municipality and which will serve as support for the students’ work.
