NOVA FCSH will support three exploratory projects with the amount of ten thousand euros over two years, targeting applications to European projects by its professors, researchers or doctoral candidates hosted by its research units.
The Exploratory Funding of NOVA FCSH, again approved by the Scientific Council in keeping with publication of Order no. 53/2022, will be awarded to projects leading to the preparation of applications to calls for proposals funded by the European Commission and the submission of publications to indexed databases.
The criteria for evaluation of applications are scientific merit (50%), partnerships (20%), expected results and future perspectives (20%) and feasibility, sustainability and appropriateness of the exploratory funding proposal (10%). The jury is composed of Cristina Brito (President and Deputy Director for Research and Strategic Planning), Manuel Pedro Ferreira, Maria de Lurdes Rosa and Maria Irene Aparício.
Applications must be submitted to research@fcsh.unl.pt by 18 March.
