As part of its training offer, IEM presents the Curricular Unit (UC) Investigação com o projeto VINCULUM – correção e certificação avançadas de bases de dados histórico -arquivística (Research at VINCULUM project – advanced correction and revision of historical archivistic databases), available to students of all 2nd Cycle (Masters) courses. This Curricular Unit (UC) has a maximum of 6 vacancies and offers a credit of 10 ECTS.

The main objectives of this UC are: a) promote knowledge of the environment and research practices in advanced science projects; b) provide knowledge about open source archival and documentary databases; c) offer training in certification and validation of complex historical information data ; d) promote knowledge about the project’s research period and topic; and e) the participation of students in the project’s scientific and science communication activities.

Students will work within the framework of the VINCULUM project, funded by the European Research Council, which will run until the end of 2024. The main task will be the collaboration in the last phase of one of the main outputs of the project, the database.
