The Postgraduate Diploma in Arquivistica Histórica (Historical Archivistics, which takes place over two semesters, provides theoretical and practical training in an innovative and emerging area of study that implements an interdisciplinary approach between History, Information Science and Archival Science. The first semester spans both the theoretical and practical dimensions across its six teaching units. The second semester is practical in nature and consists of a Historical Archival Studies project and a follow-up seminar. The final project work includes the study, treatment and description of archives of various types and will be made available under the open access regime on the Historical Archives website of NOVA FCSH.
