As a member of the NOVA FCSH Working Group for Open Science, the IEM commemorates Open Science Month alongside the whole community at NOVA FCSH. For this year, there is a partnership with Wikimedia Portugal and we have a Program packed with informative sessions and workshops.

As part of the global celebration of International Open Access Week (promoted by SPARC and taking place this year from 24th to 30th October), this year dedicated to the theme “Open Science for Climate Justice”, on the grounds that “open research can create pathways for more equitable knowledge sharing and serve as a means to address the inequalities that shape the impacts of climate change and our response to them”.
