Within scope of the MEDDOC: Digital Edition of Portuguese Medieval Documents project, researcher Gonçalo Melo da Silva (IEM, NOVA FCSH) taught a class at the Júlio Dantas Secondary School, in Lagos, on how to use historical sources to reconstitute and study a medieval village and its society and adopting the case of Lagos as an example. The activity was aimed at 10th year students from the Humanities and Visual Arts study program, helping students to explore and consolidate the contents taught about Portugal in the medieval period and their integration into the European context.
