Next Tuesday, March 15th, at 6pm, the book “Paisajes, espacios y materialidades: arqueología rural altomedieval en la península ibérica” is being launched, published in the Access Archaeology collection of the Archaeopress publishing house under the coordination of Sara Prata, Fabián Cuesta-Gómez and Catarina Tente, researchers at the Institute of Medieval Studies (IEM | NOVA FCSH).

This volume includes a selection of the texts presented at the 1st edition of EMCAM – Early Medieval Archaeological Meetings, which took place in Castelo de Vide in May 2019. Among the authors are some of the most prominent researchers in this field, putting forward varied analytical perspectives on Peninsular archaeological contexts and integrating the topics addressed into understanding the changes and continuities in rural landscapes between Late Antiquity and the Middle Ages.

This presentation takes place in person in Auditorium B2 (Tower B) of the School of Social Sciences and Humanities, NOVA University (Av. de Berna, 26), and also through the following ZOOM platform link: https://videoconf-colibri.zoom.us/j/86320619776?pwd=Q0JsbnlPN3piZEwrYkxzT2dxaVF2QT09 (Meeting ID: 863 2061 9776; password: 573601).

The volume will be available in open access on the official Archaeopress website.
