Registration is now open for the last two modules of the open course “Desvendar um passado desconhecido. Criação de conteúdos e comunicação de ciência para História e turismo cultural e local” (“Uncovering an unknown past. Content creation and science communication for history and cultural and local tourism”)  in this semester, entitled Research methodologies in archives and librariesand Methodologies of local history, houses, heraldry and historical persons”. The modules are taught online on Thursdays, from 6 pm to 9 pm, from 28/10 to 18/11 and from 25/11 to 16/12, respectively. Registration may be made independently.

The course aim to enable students to produce cultural contents of a historical nature, while equipping them with the necessary tools for communicating science from history and archives within the framework of cultural and local tourism. Throughout the six modules of the course, students receive interdisciplinary training in the field of history, archives, cultural content creation and science communication. They also enter into contact with companies dedicated to the creation of cultural content and to cultural and local tourism. This training program is developed in cooperation with ERC VINCULUM project, dedicated to studying the phenomena interlinking Southern Europe between the 14th and 17th centuries.
