PhD thesis by Carlos Afonso to be published by the General Themudo Barata Program

The thesis “A guerra cristã na formação de Portugal, 1128-1249” (“The Christian War in the formation of Portugal, 1128-1249”), by Carlos Filipe Afonso, an IEM integrated researcher, is to be published by the General Themudo Barata Program, under the auspices of the Portuguese Military History Commission.

The Program, which sees this year its first edition, aims to support the publication of doctoral theses in the area of Military History with a specific editorial line dedicated to university texts.
