Luís Filipe Oliveira and Carla Varela Fernandes, integrated IEM researchers, and Daniel Santana, from the Medieval Museum of Tavira, participated in the most recent episode of the 10th season of this Program (16 November 2020).

This Visita Guiada follows the history of the city from antiquity to more recent times, focusing especially on the medieval period and the Christian reconquest. Of particular note is the Church of Santa Maria do Castelo, erected at the end of the 13th century and one of the city’s contemporary landmarks.
