The IEM receives two more posts for contracted FCT researchers under the EEC Program 2019 call

The evaluation panel decided to award two further contracted researcher positions to two candidates applying for the IEM in the 2019 call for the FCT Scientific Employment Stimulus Program. Pablo Póvedas and Ainoa Castro were correspondingly approved for funding as contract researchers, in the “Junior” and “Assistant” categories respectively.

Pablo Póvedas applied with a project entitled “Bishops and Competitiveness in the Post-Imperial West: the examples of Gaul and Spain (5th-7th centuries)”, and Ainoa Castro, who was recently awarded an ERC Starting Grant and is currently at the University of Salamanca, applied with a project entitled “The Secret Life of Writing in Medieval Iberia”.
