Verónica Francisco holds a degree in History from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences at Nova University of Lisbon, and she is currently pursuing a master’s degree in History, specializing in Medieval History, at the same institution. During her undergraduate studies, she participated in the VINCULUM project for a month as a junior research fellow under the “Verão com Ciência” Program (promoted by FCT). She also completed a curricular internship at the National Archive of Torre do Tombo, contributing to the archival description of the fond of Convento de Santa Clara de Coimbra. Since then, Verónica has been involved as a paleographer in various projects, including the transcription of documents for the Fragmenta Historica scientific journal, the editing of a manuscript from the National Library authored by Manuel Severim de Faria, and more recently, the collaborative editing of the Cadernos de impostos
extraordinários de Loulé
and Livros de fruta de Loulé. She has also transcribed the “Tombo I” of the Parish of Machico, under the VINCULUM project. Additionally, she has volunteered at various conferences organized entirely or in partnership with the Institute for Medieval Studies (IEM). Verónica is currently the Project Manager at the VINCULUM project.
