PhD student at the Doctoral Program in History at the University of Minho, specializing in Medieval History and associated with the “Laboratory of Landscapes, Heritage and Territory – Lab2PT”. The academic has a research grant in the FRONTOWN project Thinks big about small border towns: Alto Alentejo and Alta Extremadura Leone (13th – 16th centuries), associated as a member of the Institute of Medieval Studies (IEM) of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. The area of scientific activity is Urban History, and the main areas of interest are Urban Evolution and Transformation, the History of the Iberian Northwest, Medieval Urbanism, and Roman Urbanism. Completed the Master in History at the University of Minho (UMINHO), in 2017, where he did a professional internship in 2016, financed by the ERASMUS + Program (Internship), at the Institut Català d’Arqueologia Clàssica (ICAC), an autonomous institute linked to the Rovira University i Virgili (URV), in the city of Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain. Obtained a degree in History at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), in 2014.
