Integrated researcher at the Institute of Medieval Studies (IEM-NOVA FCSH) since 2023, he has a degree in History (2018) from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto and a Master in Medieval Studies (2021) from the same institution. In his Master’s dissertation he conducted a biographical study on the figure of the Infante D. João (1400-1442), son of D. João I and D. Filipa de Lencastre.   

He was a research fellow, by the History Center of the University of Lisbon (CH-UL), in the research project “FRONTOWNS – Thinking big about small border towns: Alto Alentejo and Alta Extremadura Leonese (13th – 16th centuries) (PTDC/HAR-HIS/3024/2020) (2021-2023). Project that now integrates as researcher (2023).   

Now his main research interests focus on the institutional and political history of late-medieval Portugal, the military orders and the Portuguese medieval notary.
