Another Vinculum Project Day will take place on the 8th of July, this time in Ponte de Lima.
This initiative is part of the VINCULUM project, based at NOVA FCSH and funded by the European Research Council. The project aims to conceptualize and explain the bonding phenomenon in medieval and modern societies in Southern Europe. The communication of the scientific work to the Community is very important for the project, and is carried out through the initiative “Days of the VINCULUM project/ VINCULUM project days”, moments of debate and exchange of ideas with all those interested.
The third VINCULUM Project Day is organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Ponte de Lima, and in it we will speak in particular of Family Archives, an area in which the Municipal Archive of Ponte de Lima has played a pioneering role at national and international level. In a land of houses, manor houses and ties, the motto will be the “stories”/ “storytelling”, based on work carried out in this regard by local entities, in confluence with the work of the project, highlighting a unique heritage richness.
