The third and last session of the IEM 2019 Conference Cycle takes place on 4 December, a regular initiative that invites internationally renowned specialists to constitute privileged moments of contact, learning and scientific interaction with outstanding contemporary researchers.

This conference is given by Professor Pascoal Martínez Sopena, speaking on: “La conquista de Antequera (1410). Reflexiones sobre la construcción de la memoria en la Castilla bajomedieval“.

A Professor of Medieval History at the University of Valladolid and member of the Scientific Committee of the “Semanas de Estudios Medievales de Estella” (Navarre, Spain), this medievalist has authored a vast and innovative body of work.
