Researching the Middle Ages VI – Research Projects: realities and possibilities

Following the workshops carried out in the five previous editions of “Researching the Middle Ages”, this year’s meeting was designed to reflect the reality of the growth, although fairly modest, experienced by Medieval Studies research projects.

This meeting will bring together researchers and those responsible for ongoing and/or future projects with the aim of disseminating and discussing the types of research ongoing at Portuguese units hosting projects in the fields of History, History of Art, Archaeology, Philosophy and Literature.

On a working day intended to be productive and participatory, brief presentations of all the research projects currently underway in Portugal, either with FCT or other competitive funding, or with European financing, seeks to foster wider debate not only on the opportunities for research on the Middle Ages in Portugal, through funded projects, but also on the paths of that same research and its own respective demands.
