As part of the 11th edition of the Leiria Medieval event (18th until 21st of July), this year around the theme “1135. The foundation of the castle”, the Municipal Council of Leiria, in partnership with the Institute of Medieval Studies of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, as in the previous two years, is organizing a cycle of “Conversations” dedicated to the topic mentioned above.
With the scientific coordination of researcher Catarina Fernandes Barreira, these “Conversations” about History will take place between the 19th and 21st of July 2024 at the Igreja da Misericórdia/Intercultural Dialogue Center of Leiria. They will feature a group of medievalists renowned among the speakers and moderators of each session.
