The IUS ILLUMINATUM research group will attend the 17th International Congress of Medieval Canon Law, which will be held between July 7th and 13th in Canterbury, United Kingdom.

The IUS ILLUMINATUM research group will coordinate the session on July 8th, which will be dedicated to the theme “IUS ILLUMINATUM for the Study, Digitization, and Description of Illuminated Manuscripts and Printed Books of Canon Law in Medieval Europe (13th-15th Century).”

IEM researcher Maria Alessandra Bilotta is the coordinator and principal investigator of the IUS ILLUMINATUM team, an international scientific team composed of historians of medieval art from different European academic institutions, all specialized in illuminated legal manuscripts.
