“Uncovering the unknown past. Content creation and science communication for history and cultural and local tourism”

This program aims to enable students to produce historically based cultural content through equipping them with the tools necessary for communicating science from history and archives within the framework of cultural and local tourism. Throughout the six modules of this course, students receive interdisciplinary training in the field of history, archives, cultural content creation and communications science. They also enter into contact with companies dedicated to producing cultural content and cultural and local tourism. The training program is developed in cooperation with the ERC project VINCULUM dedicated to studying the phenomena interlinking Southern Europe between the 14th and 17th centuries.

1st Semester – Historical Contexts / Archival Research / Local History
2nd Semester – Historical Cultural Contents / Communicating Science / Cultural Entrepreneurship

Classes take place in an online format on Thursdays from 6pm to 9pm, from 30 September 2021 to 12 May 2022.
