Call for the submission of articles for publication in the Medievalista journal:
Medievalista – the online journal of the Institute of Medieval Studies of NOVA FCSH, – is accepting proposals for articles for publication in issue no. 35 (January-June 2024) until 31 December 2022, with the texts to be submitted, in case of prior acceptance, by 30 May 2023.
The proposals, which in keeping with the articles themselves, may be submitted in Portuguese, English, French, German, Italian and Spanish, must include:
– The title;
– Article abstract (200 words);
– Brief author CV (150 words);
The Editorial Board then evaluates the article abstracts and those ranked as pertinent to the journal’s objectives will be approved. All authors will be contacted with a response. Once the text is then received, it is subject to double peer review.
Medievalista was launched in 2005 as the e-publication of the Institute of Medieval Studies in response to the prevailing lack of Portuguese scientific journals on the Middle Ages.
It is currently indexed or referenced on the following platforms: Latindex Catálogo 2.0, Dialnet, LusOpenEdition, DOAJ, ERIH Plus, SciELO Portugal, Web of Science – SciELO Citation Index, Sherpa Romeo, MLA Database, CIRC, Index Copernicus, MIAR, Regesta Imperii, REDIB and RCAAP.
