The presentation of the book “A Capela de Nossa Senhora da Ajuda e os Morgados dos Piornais: séculos XVI – XXI” (The Chapel of Our Lady of Ajuda and the Morgado of Piornais: 16th – 21st centuries), published by the Regional Directorate of Archives and the Library of Madeira, is taking place on December 12th, at 5.30pm, in the Alberto Vieira Study Centre of Atlantic History auditorium, Funchal.

On the editorial initiative of the Study Centre of Atlantic History – Alberto Vieira (CEHA-AV), the book launch is taking place on December 12th, at 5.30pm, in the CEHA-AV auditorium (Rua das Mercês). The Regional Secretary for Tourism and Culture, Eduardo Jesus, will be in attendance for this event.

Collectively authored, this is a work composed of multiple records.

The book work will be presented by Professor Maria de Lurdes Rosa, researcher and lecturer at NOVA University, and director of its Institute of Medieval Studies.
