The Institute of Medieval Studies at Universidade Nova de Lisboa (IEM- NOVA FCSH, Lisbon) is hosting a virtual drinks reception in which we will take the opportunity of meeting all our friends and colleagues attending the vIMC. We will have a brief presentation of the work and goals of the IEM, followed by a round table where the role of Institutes for Medieval Studies in general and that of the IEM in particular will be addressed in brief interventions by our guests, followed by debate open to all. We hope the reception will promote further collaboration and better knowledge of the work being developed at the Institute, and we promise to host a reception with real drinks as soon as July 2021!   This event will be hosted on Zoom and a link will be available within the vIMC app.

Round table participants: Axel Müller (Univ. Leeds); Kurt Villads Jensen ( Univ. Stockholm);  Maria Pilar Lorenzo Gradín ( Univ. Santiago de Compostela); Maria Soler Sala (Univ.  Barcelona); Nahir Otaño Gracia (Univ. New Mexico); Simon Doubleday (Hofstra Univ. New York).

Access should be made via the IMC App:  https://www.imc.leeds.ac.uk/imc-2020/vimc-2020-app/
