On November 16th, UNESCO elevated Falconry to the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The day will be marked as International Falconry Day from this year onwards.
This anniversary was created to celebrate Falconry and bring the general population closer to this ancestral form of hunting.
Tapada Nacional de Mafra is associated with partner Falcoes no Oeste and IEM, and as a celebration, will develop activities to celebrate this important milestone.
