This program aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to undertake digital reconstructions of religious heritage, combining theoretical lessons with a strong practical component. Based on concrete cases, each participant will be able to go through the various stages of 3D reconstruction using the appropriate equipment and technology: survey and data processing, treatment and interpretation of information and the final presentation of the work. To this end, they will encounter experienced tutors to accompany and guide them throughout the process.

The cases studied involve two monasteries of the former Congregation of the Hermits of São Paulo da Serra de Ossa, both of medieval origin and founded near Évora: Santa Catarina de Montemuro and Santa Margarida do Aivado.

The course is fully accredited, and its main targets are post-graduate, doctoral and post-doctoral students, young researchers in the fields of architecture, archaeology and engineering and professionals linked to the study and preservation of cultural heritage.
