The Program “O Património Cultural dos Oceanos“/ “The Cultural Heritage of Oceans” results from the partnership established between Antena 2 and the UNESCO Chair “The Cultural Heritage of Oceans”, coordinated by CHAM – Humanities Centre and which has as its members the NOVA FCSH research units: IELT – Institute for the Study of Literature and Tradition, IEM – Institute of Medieval Studies and IHC – Institute of Contemporary History. Besides these centres, the Chair also counts on the participation of several partner institutions, such as OMA – the Azores Observatory of the Sea  , APCM – Association for Sea Sciences and IPC – Institute of Cultural Heritage, Cape Verde.

Thirteen Programs were recorded with each covering an area of specialist knowledge under this Chair, such as History, Biology, Environment, Museology, Archaeology, among others, with the participation of various guests, João Paulo Oliveira e Costa (CHAM), Cristina Brito (CHAM) José António Bettencourt (CHAM), Ana Catarina Garcia (CHAM), Joana Gaspar Freitas (IELT), Hamilton Fernandes (IPC), Maria de Fátima Nunes (IHC), Amélia Andrade (IEM), Carla Alferes Pinto (CHAM), Henrique Cabral (FCUL), Inês Carvalho (APCM), Maria Joana Cruz (OMA) and Márcia Dutra (OMA).

The interviews, with João Almeida, will be aired every Friday at 2.20pm.

After the broadcast, the interviews will be available online at plataforma RTP Play.
