The IEM is granting a total of four doctoral research scholarships under the auspices of the FCT Research Grant Regulations (RBI) and the Research Grant Holder Statute (EBI), distributed as follows:

– two scholarships for the PhD program in Medieval Studies (e-learning) at NOVA FCSH /UAb;

– two scholarships for a PhD in History at NOVA FCSH (specialising in Medieval History and Archaeology and Historical Archivistics)

The grants are funded by the Portuguese Science and Technology Foundation (FCT) under the scope of the Collaboration Protocol for the Funding of the Pluriannual Research Grant Plan for PhD Students, signed between FCT and IEM.

The calls are due to be announced in the near future.
