Publication of the book  “Gentes do Norte pela própria voz. Arquivos de família da região de Guimarães – Porto, séculos XV-XVII” – Alice Gago”

The IEM announces the publication of the work “Gentes do Norte pela própria voz. Arquivos de família da região de Guimarães – Porto, séculos XV-XVII” (“People of the North in their own voice. Family records from the region of Guimarães – Oporto, 15th-17th centuries”) by IEM researcher Alice Borges Gago.

The work was published in a special volume of Revista de Guimarães, the scientific publication of the Martins Sarmento Society, issued since 1884, as stated in the Alberto Sampaio History Prize Regulations that the author received in 2020 and launched during the 1st Interdisciplinary Days – “Documentation of some for all”, on 23rd October 2021, in Guimarães.
