International call for tenders for the recruitment of four PhD researchers by the VINCULUM project — Entailing Perpetuity: Family, Power, Identity. The Social Agency of a Corporate Body (Southern Europe, 14th -17th Centuries). ERC – Grant
Applications until 17.05.2022
ERC - Grant Agreement n. 819734
The VINCULUM project has launched an international call for applications for the recruitment of four PhD candidates. The researchers will carry out in-depth research on the phenomenon of entailment in Southern European spaces, between the 14th and 17th centuries, with Portugal and its Atlantic areas as a case study in order to produce a new definition, which essentially approaches entailment as a social actor with the main components of kinship, power, and identity. The methodology adopted incorporates the interweaving of traditional disciplinary boundaries across the aforementioned centuries of study and the continental and Atlantic geographies. This also includes both comparative perspectives and the study of future social reconfigurations of the entailment phenomenon.
The applications, which must contain all the contents listed in the announcement, should be sent to the email address concursosprojetos@fcsh.unl.pt, with the subject referencing the respective application process.
