Logos

All communication and publicity events and materials (printed and digital) with FCT financing are to necessarily feature the following logos: 

  • of the Institute of Medieval Studies;
  • of NOVA FCSH (School of Social Sciences and Humanities, NOVA University);
  • and of the FCT (Foundation for Science and Technology): 

The logos are to appear in the following order IEM – NOVA FCSH – FCT and on the following types of materials: 

  • Brochures, book front and back covers, journals, minutes, posters, programs, invitations, among others;
  • Websites – on the respective homepage (when applicable);
  • Printed advertisements – in the footer or similar position;
  • Advertisements for awarding Research Project Grants – in the footer or similar position whenever possible.

Project Reference

Any project dissemination material or any other output should always contain either of the following references in keeping with the respective language of publication:

In case of any doubt, please consult the RG Management Team.  

 

These norms comply with the requirements handed down by the FCT:  Normas de Informação e Publicitação de Apoios para Beneficiários OE (2016).

 

We would remind you that in the case of financing from the FCT, there is a requirement to submit the scientific output to the open-access institutional repository.

Affiliations

IEM contracted researchers and grant holders are to always mention this affiliation in the following formats: 

  • Books, chapters, articles, minutes of conferences, catalogs;
  • Posters, programs, summary books and other publication formats;
  • Communications, PowerPoint presentations and similar;
  • Software and websites;

In the case of FCT grant-holding researchers, they are to reference this grant in all R&D activities directly or indirectly financed by the FCT as well as all communications, publications and scientific outputs, as well as any theses, produced through the support provided in accordance with the FCT, I. P. Research Grant Regulations.
