João Costa Silva

João Costa Silva is a Master student in Medieval History at the School of Social Sciences and Humanities, NOVA University, where he took his degree in History. He did his traineeship at the Museu Militar in Lisbon, after which he published the results of his research in Revista Militar. He worked together with the Mário Soares Foundation and the HTC for the project “History, Memory and Heritage of the Socialist Party”, and also contributed to the catalogue for the commemoration of the 50 years of the political party’s history.   

Now focused on Medieval Studies, he is currently working on his master’s thesis on political culture during the reign of Afonso III.
