On 6 March, in the Madeira Regional Public Library, the Vinculum Project Day takes place.
Part of the VINCULUM project, funded by the European Research Council, this aims to conceptualise and explain phenomena around attachment in medieval and modern societies in Southern Europe.
The Vinculum Project Day provides moments of debate and exchanges of ideas between all those interested in the subject. Thus, it is in cooperation with the Madeira Regional Directorate of Archives and Libraries that the island’s bonds will be discussed through scientific papers, a visit to the DRABM – Directorate of Conservation and Restoration Service, and a session in the parish church of Machico.
