Between October 5th and 7th, the VIII International Conference on the Middle Ages: Religions in Medieval Urban Europe will take place in Castelo de Vide. The theme of this edition is “Religions in Medieval Europe”, with three plenary conferences held by renowned national and international experts, such as Maria Filomena Andrade (U. Aberta; CEHR-UCP), Maxime l’Héritier (Université Paris 8) and Maribel Fierro (Center for Human and Social Sciences – CSIC).

The International Days of the Middle Ages are an initiative of the Institute of Medieval Studies and the Municipal Council of Castelo de Vide, which this year proposes the theme of religiosity in the medieval urban world, therefore covering a large multiplicity of themes, which are easily integrated both the Christian and Islamic or Jewish worlds.

Registration for listeners is open and the program is available here.
