On April 11th, at room B309, (B Tower, 3rd floor) Campus Avenida de Berna, Lisbon, the new online platform IEM GeoPortal will be presented. It is designed to share and visualize geospatial data related to the research at IEM and the Institute’s publications, namely Medievalista. In addition, the platform aims to promote and geographically represent Portuguese medieval history and heritage.

The GeoPortal will be permanently open to insert shared data in open access, functioning simultaneously as a work tool and an information visualization tool. In addition to supporting researchers in their research and disseminating their results, this platform will contribute to increasing the visibility of the work developed at IEM, promoting the FAIR principles and Open Science.
