On November 28, at 6:00 p.m., the proceedings of the 3rd Vouzela-Lafões Archaeology Conference will be launched in Vouzela. The volume is organized into two sections: the first brings together studies on Lafões archaeology in a supra-regional context; the second presents results from the MEGA Lafões and MONS projects.

The first section includes a study by Margarita Fernández Mier on common pastures in the Cantabrian Mountains, Cristina Gameiro’s work on the Paleolithic contexts uncovered at the Ribeiradio-Ermida Dam, and a critical synthesis by Raquel Vilaça on the end of the Bronze Age in Lafões, with particular emphasis on Baiões.

The event will take place at the Cineteatro João Ribeiro (Vouzela), as part of the 4th Vouzela-Lafões Archaeology Conference, to be held from November 28 to 29.
