The result of a collaboration between IEM, Lisboa Cultura / Castelo de São Jorge, and Lisbon City Council, the Days of the Middle Ages, will occur between September 27th and 29th at Castelo de São Jorge.
The Middle Ages Days aim to promote the dissemination of the Middle Ages experiences and the relationship between communities and the heritage that is still preserved, and that connects the medieval city to the current city.
With a rich array of workshops, guided tours, concerts, demonstrations, and conversations, the Middle Ages Days promise an exciting and immersive experience. Over three days, we aim to bring the Middle Ages closer to non-specialized audiences, with a special focus on school audiences, and raise awareness of the fascinating history and heritage of this era.
