The IV Vouzela-Lafões Archaeology Conference will take place on November 28 and 29 at the Cineteatro João Ribeiro in Vouzela, an initiative of the Vouzela Municipality in collaboration with the MONS project. This edition is dedicated specifically to mountain studies.
The event is organized by the Vouzela Municipality, with the support of the municipal company Vouzelar, the Vouga Caramulo Natural Park, the University of the Algarve, and the Institute for Medieval Studies (IEM – NOVA FCSH).
On the first day of the conference, the proceedings of the 3rd meeting, held in 2023, will also be presented.
On Saturday morning, guided visits will take place to the sites of Lapa da Meruje and Tapado das Casas. Transportation to the locations will be provided by the municipality, and the meeting point is in front of Vouzela Town Hall at 9:30 a.m.
