On November 28th were announcement the provisional results of the 6th Edition of the Individual Call to Scientific Employment Stimulus. Two new contracts were awarded to IEM researchers.

Researcher Miguel Metelo de Seixas won the grant in the Principal Investigator category, with the project “Heraldry in Portuguese early Overseas expansion (15th-16th centuries): acculturation and resistance”.

Researcher Elsa Cardoso, who presented the project “DeCourt – Deorientalizing Islamic medieval court concepts and models: 8th – 13th centuries and beyond”, won the grant in the Junior Researcher category.
