Sara Prata, a researcher at the Institute of Medieval Studies, participated in a report published on the RTP Ensina platform, aimed at complementing the teaching of history at all levels of education. “Ruínas em Castelo de Vide ilustram a vida rural na Idade Média” (Ruins in Castelo de Vide illustrate rural life in the Middle Ages), dedicated to medieval archaeology, was recorded in 2014 during the first excavation carried out by the PramCV project, at the site of Tapada das Guaritas, a high-medieval farm used during the sixth and seventh centuries. This research was developed between 2014 and 2018 within the framework of the long-lasting collaboration between IEM and Castelo de Vide Municipal Council.
