Already available on the NOVA FCSH website are the Luís Krus Centre New Year courses – 2022 edition

The IEM teaching range this year consists of the program Sufism in Ġarb Al-Andalus (10th – 13th Centuries). People and values. Social and spiritual experiences, by integrated researcher António Rei. The course is dedicated to Sufism (Islamic mysticism) in al-Andalus (the Islamic Iberian Peninsula) in the Middle Ages, and is focused, in particular, on the Sufis who originated from, settled in, or were somehow especially related to Ġarb al-Andalus, between the 10th and 13th centuries, while also seeking to identify reflections of those spiritual, social and cultural experiences on contemporary times, and in symbioses with other spiritual experiences, in particular with the other “of the Book” religions, Christianity and Judaism.
