 Oferta Formativa IEM: Atelier de Iniciação à Investigação em Estudos Medievais I

Como parte da sua oferta formativa, o IEM apresenta o Atelier de Iniciação à Investigação em Estudos Medievais I, disponível para os alunos de todos os cursos do 1º Ciclo (Licenciatura). Esta Unidade Curricular (UC) tem um total de 16 vagas e oferece uma creditação de 6 ECTS.
Os principais objectivos desta UC são: a) a aquisição de competências práticas de investigação em Estudos Medievais; b) fomentar a capacidade de organizar e apresentar resultados de investigação válidos em projetos coletivos; c) estimular a capacidade de comunicar e discutir as implicações dos resultados segundo cânones académicos; e d) a aprendizagem de técnicas e criação de rotinas de trabalho em investigação nas diversas áreas dos Estudos Medievais: Arqueologia, Arte, História, Literatura.
De acordo com a área específica de cada aluno, este será integrado num dos projetos de investigação a decorrer no IEM, sendo-lhe ensinadas metodologias de investigação adequadas aos objectivos das tarefas que desempenhará no âmbito do projeto. Para cada licenciado serão definidos objetivos específicos e será desenhado um plano de trabalhos que permita a aquisição de competências de investigação e o cumprimento dos objetivos estabelecidos. As part of its training offer, IEM presents the Initiation Workshop for Research in Medieval Studies I, available to all 1st Cycle (Bachelor) courses students. This Curricular Unit (CU) has 16 vacancies and offers an accreditation of 6 ECTS.
The main objectives of this UC are: a) the acquisition of practical research skills in Medieval Studies; b) foster the ability to organize and present valid research results in collective projects; c) stimulate the ability to communicate and discuss the implications of results according to academic canons; and d) learning techniques and creating research work routines in the various areas of Medieval Studies: Archaeology, Art, History, Literature.
According to each student's specific area, they will be integrated into one of the research projects at IEM, being taught research methodologies appropriate to the objectives of the tasks they will perform within the project's scope. Specific objectives will be defined for each graduate, and a work plan will be designed to acquire research skills and fulfill the established objectives.
