FCT offers two application tracks:

  • General Call Line, aimed at funding research activities leading to the award of a doctoral degree, carried out in scientific and academic institutions.
  • Specific Call Line in a Non-Academic Environment, aimed at funding research activities leading to the award of a doctoral degree, developed in collaboration with non-academic entities.

Expressions of interest must be sent by email to iem.geral@fcsh.unl.pt by March 17.

In order to provide clarification and assist all interested applicants in preparing their proposals, IEM will also organize the online session “Applying for an FCT Scholarship” on March 20 at 10:30 a.m.

Expressions of interest must include the following documents:

  • Curriculum Vitae;
  • Project summary (including title of the work plan, keywords, abstract, objectives, and any other elements deemed relevant by the applicant).
