Virgínia Boechat, a PhD candidate in the Doctoral Programme in Medieval Studies (online), jointly offered by Universidade Aberta and NOVA FCSH, inaugurated on 5 May an exhibition entitled “La Faune des Voyageurs. Illustrations d’animaux dans les imprimés du XVIe siècle”. Organised by the researcher, who is affiliated with IELT and IEM (NOVA FCSH), the exhibition will remain open until 5 June at the Library of the Agro Paris-Saclay Campus.

The exhibition engages with several lines of research that are central to both institutes with which the researcher collaborates, including studies on the imagination, travel studies, and animal studies in the Middle Ages.
