João Miguel Brigue Filipe

After completing secondary education in the Languages and Humanities Scientific-Humanistic Programme with a final grade of 19 out of 20, he enrolled in the BA in Political Science and International Relations at FCHS-UNL. He later chose to complement this training with an MA in History, specialising in Medieval History, at the same institution, which he is currently completing.

The main focus of his master’s dissertation is the General Laws of 1211 promulgated by King Afonso II of Portugal. He intends to pursue doctoral research on the international and diplomatic relations established by the Kingdom of Portugal between 1325 and 1383.
