It is with great pleasure that we announce the launch of the latest issue of Revista Medievalista (issue 37, January – June 2025).

This issue of Medievalista presents a dossier that reflects on “What survives after death? Parish Communities and Death Commemoration Strategies in the Medieval City”. It is a tribute to the late Clive Burgess, an authority on England’s late medieval religious practices and beliefs. The dossier, now published, had as guest editors Maria Amélia Álvaro de Campos and Ana Isabel Sampaio Ribeiro.

With this latest publication, Medievalista provides essential reading for scholars and enthusiasts of Medieval Studies and related disciplines. We invite you to explore these significant contributions and join us in celebrating our ongoing commitment to advancing knowledge in our field with each new issue.
